Box sizes

The machines will accept a wide range of width and height boxes. Manually adjusted machines may be set up for long runs of same size boxes and have a high maximum rate of throughput.

Random size machines sense varying height and width boxes at the infeed and set themselves automatically. They are ideal for packing areas where many different size boxes are produced simultaneously. They have a slower maximum throughput rate.

Box weights and solidity

The overall proportions, weight, and solidity of the box types to be packed will determine the best belt feed mechanism to use;

Bottom belt feed – Heavy, stable, regular boxes. Top and Bottom belt feed – Most medium to heavy ordinary shaped boxes.

Side belt feed – Light, small, easily crushed and irregular shape boxes."
