Ordering, Delivery & Refunds

How do I order products with Jeaton?

Simply log on to the website, select products and add them to your basket using the keyword search, navigation tabs or filters. Once you’ve filled your basket, click ‘Checkout’ to pay by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo or Visa Electron.

Do I have to reach a minimum order value?

There is no minimum limit on your order.

How do I know my order has been received?

After you have checked out your basket and paid for it, you will be given an email confirmation that your order has been received.

I require Material Safety Datasheets (MSDS) with my order

Jeaton will provide MSDS with products at your request, simply register with the website as a business customer and tick the boxes next to products for which you require MSDS at checkout.

What if I forget my password?

Log in, enter your email address and click ‘Forgotten Password?’ You will be sent an instant password confirmation.

How do I review my order history?

You can easily review your order history and check order status. Go to the Customer Login area and click on ‘Order History’ to view a complete log of your orders.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is charged at a standard rate of £7.50 to all areas of the UK & Ireland.

How long will delivery take?

You will receive an estimated delivery time with your order confirmation.

What happens if I order a product that is out of stock?

Should you place an order for a product that is out of stock, one of our sales team will inform you of the situation and amend your order as required.

Can I order product for shipping outside the UK?

Yes.

What if I have special delivery requirements?

At the checkout stage there is an option to add notes to your order.

I ordered goods but they didn’t arrive.

In the unlikely event that you do not receive your goods, please contact our sales team for assistance, quoting your order reference number. 

How do I return a product?

If you change your mind after receiving an order because goods are simply unsuitable, you can return them (in a resalable condition) within 28 days of purchase.
A small handling charge and / or return carriage charge may be applicable - you will be advised of any fees when the return is processed.

How do I change or cancel an order?

You can change or cancel an order at any stage of shopping by viewing your basket and adjusting quantities as required. If you decide you wish to change or cancel an order after checking out, please contact our sales team immediately.

If your order is being processed or has been picked from our warehouse for delivery, you may be charged a small handling fee.   

Shipping And Handling

Next working day delivery is available upon request. All our deliveries are handled by DHL or our own delivery transport.

All our deliveries require a signature at delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to insure that someone is available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel. When there is no one at the address the courier will leave a card to show that they have been and how to re-arrange a new delivery or collection.

Jeaton Ltd cannot be held responsible for items that have been left by the carrier. Stolen, lost or pilfered deliveries left in this manner will be entirely the responsibility of the customer. This request must be made at the time of ordering as the courier will not leave items without a signature unless indicated to do so in writing by Jeaton Ltd.

Jeaton Ltd will not be responsible for extra delivery charges that may arise as a result of failed deliveries.

Charges for extra delivery attempts or change of delivery address will be payable by the customer. There is a £10 charge to the customer for consignments that are returned to Jeaton Ltd due to a failed delivery.

Delivery charges only cover mainland UK anything out of that area may be subject to additional carriage charges, we will advise you of these carriage charges before sending out your goods so you have the opportunity of selecting a mainland UK address or cancelling your order.

Please note: We do not deliver to PO boxes.

Delivery Schedule

Where items are out of stock we will deliver your order when the order is complete. We will normally send your order to you with in 3 working days. In any event you will be updated if lead times are to be exceeded. In all cases we endeavour to despatch your order within 28 days.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We will send your back order on to the original delivery address free of extra charges.

VAT Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.
All other orders are VAT free. Our VAT number is GB 379766773

Guarantee (Internet & Mail Order Orders)

We guarantee your satisfaction. We give a seven day returns option on all items (unless they are specials, have been altered or made bespoke- such as embroidered logos etc). This will result in a credit for the items, subject to the items arriving in an unused and resalable condition.

Please ensure that you obtain a returns authority prior to sending back any goods and enclose a copy of the returns note in the parcel with the goods.
